Well B2Bs!! Today I’m going to talk about one of my favourite things – DIY crafting. For weddings there are loads of scrumptious ideas out there and many kind crafters show good detailed photos online to follow.
I’ve seen some recent weddings where the whole thing has been a labour of DIY love and they are beautiful. So why do it? Well it adds your personal touch in a way no shop bought thing can. The smallest thing impresses your guests, so today we start with easy and cost effective.
So what are we using? Wallpaper! There are many uses for this which makes an impact. What about this idea as a backdrop for wedding photos? Make a corner where your guests can pose – they’ll love it!
All the big DIY shops have really interesting wallpapers now from patterns to skylines; they can look great as a photo shoot backdrop so get colours or a pattern that go with your wedding theme. Another great use for wallpaper is table runners, an easy way to add contrast.
And what about lining your seating plan board? Or using wallpaper to cover a guest comments book?
Another great idea, though it takes a bit of time, is to use wallpaper to make your invitation envelopes or the lining for your envelopes. Don’t these look really gorg!! For how to make the envelopes click here…..
I hope you manage to buy a roll and get your scissors out – give it a go. Its a cheap way to make an impact.
Taraa for now,
