It is week 8 of lockdown… How are you all coping ?
We miss the shop terribly and we miss our brides. During this time we have talked about how we can stay in touch in a way that feels right, compassionate and understanding of how when you are planning a wedding, this situation couldn’t come at a worse time. We also talked about if there was a way we could give something back and we had an idea. The Wedding Room would like to offer a key worker their wedding dress, completely on us, as a thank you for all the hard work in our local community. So we are delighted to tell you about our ‘Local Hero’ competition.
If you know a key worker ‘bride to be’ in the local area who is getting married before December 31st 2022 who during this Covid-19 pandemic is making a difference in the community, we would love to hear from you. To nominate someone email us and tell us all about them, their wedding plans, if they have had to reschedule, their job and why you think they should win their perfect wedding dress.

Nominations for brides living in NG and DE postcodes only. The prize is for a wedding dress of the winners choice from our current collection to the value of £1500. No cash alternative is available but if a dress over £1500 is chosen the winner can make up the difference in cost. When the shop is able to open safely we will contact you to arrange an appointment. Wedding date must be booked already to take place no later than December 31st 2022.
