Everyone remembers the day they chose their wedding dress. I do, even though my wedding was 16 years ago tomorrow. I never wanted a big day or a big dress and when my Mum and I found this one it felt so right. I felt amazing in it and I love it to this day.
I’m separated now but my interest in weddings has only grown stronger – not for myself right now but to be part of that magic moment a woman slips into a wedding dress, steps up onto the podium, sees herself in the mirror and just knows it’s the one. I don’t think I will ever tire of seeing that emotion.
Fashions change – as you can see from my choice from 2003 – but the feeling remains, even though I would choose something totally different now.
